About the Vault Mixer

The Vault Mixer is an interactive product-discovery feature operated by Arcane Vault.

It recreates the experience of opening a capsule while allowing customers to view the exact figure and its price before making a purchase.

Turning the handle and revealing a figure is free. A reveal does not require payment, store credit, a token, an entry fee, or a purchase.

Opening a digital capsule does not automatically place an order or charge the customer.

Any purchase is completed separately through Arcane Vault’s standard cart and checkout process.

How Products Are Revealed

Each roll selects from the eligible products currently assigned to that Vault Mixer and available in store inventory.

Once the capsule is opened, the customer is shown:

  • The revealed figure or product.
  • The current listed price.
  • The product’s rarity classification, where applicable.
  • A button to add the revealed product to the cart.

The products available through a Vault Mixer may change as inventory is added, removed, sold, or restocked.

Rarity and Reveal Frequency

Certain products may be assigned a rarity classification and an individual reveal weight.

Reveal weights are used to recreate the experience of opening physical blind boxes, where common figures appear more frequently and rare or secret figures appear less frequently.

The rarity shown in the Vault Mixer follows the manufacturer’s stated classification where available. If the manufacturer does not provide an official classification, Arcane Vault may assign rarity based on how frequently each figure style appears while identifying the available stock. Figures designated as secret by the manufacturer remain classified as secret.

A specific product is not guaranteed to appear after any particular number of rolls unless Arcane Vault expressly states otherwise.

Reveals, Availability, and Reservations

A Vault Mixer result displays a product that is available at the time the result is generated. However, revealing a product does not reserve it.

Adding a product to the cart may also not reserve inventory. The product is secured only after the customer successfully completes checkout and the order is accepted.

If another customer purchases the remaining stock before checkout is completed, the revealed product may become unavailable.

Any payment made through checkout is for the selected product itself. Arcane Vault does not charge customers for turning the handle, opening a digital capsule, or viewing a result.

Why Product Identification May Be Necessary

Certain figures offered through the Vault Mixer originate from blind-box, trading-figure, or randomly assorted product lines.

The manufacturer’s external packaging may not identify which character or design is enclosed. Limited opening may therefore be necessary to ensure that the figure shown in the Vault Mixer result is the exact figure supplied to the customer.

Products are opened only when identification cannot reasonably be completed through the unopened packaging.

Identification Process

The identification method depends on how the manufacturer packaged the product:

Visible Packaging

If the character or design can be identified from outside the packaging, the product remains unopened.

Outer Packaging Opened

If the outer box must be opened but the character can be identified without opening the sealed inner factory packaging, the inner packaging remains sealed.

If the design can be identified through a card or marking included by the manufacturer, the sealed inner packaging is not opened when there is no need to do so.

The original box is included when it can be opened and preserved in suitable condition. An Arcane Vault seal sticker is applied to indicate where the box was opened.

The way the box is sealed and the amount of adhesive used by the manufacturer may vary from one product to another. When the box needs to be opened for product identification, minor signs may appear around the opened area.

Inner Packaging Opened

If the character is concealed inside opaque inner packaging, only the part necessary to identify the figure is opened.

The figure is visually identified and then carefully returned to its original packaging.

The figure and its accessories are carefully placed in suitable protective packaging when needed.

Any Arcane Vault replacement seal or packaging is not an original manufacturer seal.

Handling and Checks

All identification is carried out carefully in a clean, dedicated handling area.

Products identified by Arcane Vault are not displayed, played with, or used before sale. Any handling is limited to what is reasonably necessary to:

  • Identify the enclosed character or design.
  • Perform a basic external visual check.
  • Return or transfer the item to suitable protective packaging.

Due to the nature of the check, it may not be possible to confirm that the product is free from hidden defects, minor paint observations, or issues that cannot be seen without further disassembly or use.

Packaging and Included Components

Arcane Vault preserves the following whenever applicable and reasonably possible:

  • The original manufacturer box.
  • Internal trays or protective materials.
  • Information cards and printed inserts.
  • Stands, bases, interchangeable parts, and other accessories.
  • Any additional components originally supplied with the figure.

When the original box can be opened without damaging it, the figure is returned to the box and the box is included with the order.

If the box or internal packaging cannot be opened without being torn or broken, Arcane Vault may use alternative protective packaging to preserve the figure’s presentation and keep the figure and its accessories together during storage and delivery.

Any significant difference in the packaging supplied with a product will be stated in the relevant product information where applicable.

Why the Vault Mixer Is Designed This Way

The Vault Mixer is intended to preserve the surprise of a Gacha-style reveal while allowing the customer to know which product they would be paying for before completing a purchase.

The Vault Mixer does not require payment for rolls, entries, tokens, or chances to receive an unknown product.

Customers do not pay merely to discover a result. Payment occurs only when a customer proceeds through the normal checkout process to purchase the product displayed.

This design separates the enjoyment of the reveal from the purchase itself.

Product Authenticity

Products offered by Arcane Vault are authentic collectibles sourced directly from Japan through established and trusted suppliers and distributors, including Milestone, depending on the product.

Original manufacturer packaging is retained where possible, considering the nature of the identification process described above.

Opening a product for identification does not change its manufacturer or origin.

Prices and Checkout

The price displayed in the Vault Mixer is the product’s listed price at the time of the reveal.

Applicable delivery charges, discounts, and other order details are calculated or displayed during the normal checkout process.

If there appears to be an error or inconsistency between the Vault Mixer result, product page, cart, or checkout information, the customer should hold off on completing the order and contact Arcane Vault for assistance.

Inspection, Returns, and Refunds

The identification process includes a limited visual check of the areas and components that can reasonably be seen without unnecessary opening, disassembly, or use.

This process is intended to confirm the identity of the figure and note any clearly visible concerns. Because it is a figure-identification process rather than an inspection, it may not reveal defects concealed by the figure’s position, internal packaging, accessories, or areas that cannot be viewed through sealed or partially transparent packaging.

A product’s disclosed identification status, including outer packaging opened for identification, inner packaging opened for identification, or careful repackaging by Arcane Vault, is part of the product’s stated condition and is not, by itself, considered a fault or defect.

If the customer receives a figure different from the one ordered, please open a ticket using the Return and Refund form found here.

If the packaging allows only the front of the figure to be viewed and a defect is later discovered on a concealed area, the request will be assessed under the same Return and Refund Policy guidelines that apply to other products.
